Multi-disciplined performer, Annie Enneking, has been seen in numerous venues around the Twin Cities and across the nation, in various capacities--as an actor, dancer, and musician. She is currently a member of the folk-rock trio The Brawny Motherfolkers, but cut her musical teeth as a solo singer-songwriter. Whether alone or with her band, she writes spare tales of heartbreak that are at once humorous, ironic and wrenching. Her self-produced CD "Fast and Good Looking" has been well received.

Bill's Notes: One night in November, a friend called me from Sir Ben's Tavern in Duluth and suggested I come down to hear Annie's band "The Brawny Motherfolkers" and a young violinist that was jamming with them. I was so impressed with Annie's vivid writing and strong, clear, voice. I invited her to be my guest in a "Songwriters in the Round" show in early December. Since she was coming up for a couple of shows, I also invited her to sing on the album. Besides the great harmonies on Photo Mosaic and Weightless, her arrangement of echoing vocals to Cowbird has added extra emotional edge to the already heartbreaking song. I should note, she had never heard any of my songs until she listened to the rehearsal CD on her drive up, the day she went into the studio. She is a pro. By the way, the violinist was nineteen-year-old Becky Farmer.
