Vocals on: Becky is a Minneapolis-based performing songwriter originally from South Dakota. She and her band have been named the Minnesota Music Awards Bluegrass Artist of the Year for the past two years (2000/2001). She has appeared on Prairie Home Companion and KMSP-TV and is a perennial favorite at the Minnesota State Fair. Twin Cities Revue called hers "a miracle of a voice". | Bill's Notes: In the past five months, Becky has become one of my closest friends in the music business. She has appeared on my "Songwriters in the Round" show numerous times and is an audience favorite. Though known and respected nationally for her successful bluegrass band, Becky is coming into her own as a performing songwriter. And that voice!! Recently, a friend of mine in the audience whispered to me "Her voice just make me melt".
